| HANSA-FLEX group certified according to ISO 9001 : 2000 |

| Between the 21st of May and the 4th June 2002 a large number of all HANSA-FLEX subsidiaries
in Europe including the general headquarters in Bremen, the HANSA-FLEX group FLEXXPRESS, the
central batch production and the tube bending center have been certified according to the
new standard ISO 9001. The audit carried out via the Germanischer Lloyds Certification GmbH
produced an overall positive result for all standard requirements.

With the introduction of the QM guide we break a new ground. Just to maintain
a rough overview of its content:
within the first and rather global chapter the HANSA-FLEX vision, the management and further
general principles are introduced. The second part portrays the customer service in all regional
subsidiaries together with the HANSA-FLEX specialists. Finally the third and last part of the QM
guide resumes the organisation of the company general headquarter.

| Thus the quality management system enables and supports an ideal organisation
in the head office as well as its subsidiaries and provides moreover a digital reference
book for all employees.

| Our enhanced quality management system supports a structured and well-planned future
